Apple, a global leader in technology, is intensifying its focus on India by launching a new application aimed at enhancing the user experience for its customers in the country. The app, now available on the Apple Store, was announced on Friday and is designed to streamline access to Apple products and services.

This move aligns with Apple’s broader strategy to boost sales and expand its presence in India, one of the fastest-growing markets for technology. The app is expected to make Apple’s offerings more accessible, particularly in smaller towns, where the company aims to deepen its reach.

The newly launched "Apple Store" app provides users with various services, including updates on new products, financing options, and Apple Trade-In programs. Customers can also arrange for home delivery or choose in-store pickup for their purchases. The app includes a "Go Further" feature, which allows users to connect with experts for guidance on using their Apple devices. Additionally, it offers customization options for Mac products, catering to individual preferences.

Karen Rasmussen, Head of Retail Online at Apple, highlighted the app’s potential to transform the shopping experience for Indian customers. She expressed optimism about the application’s ability to bring Apple’s services closer to users across the country.

Apple has been manufacturing iPhones in India since 2017 and has steadily expanded its retail footprint. In April 2023, the company opened its first two retail stores in Mumbai and Delhi, which have seen significant customer engagement. Encouraged by this response, Apple has announced plans to open four additional stores in Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi-NCR, and Mumbai in the near future.
